Advanced Program Objectives

The objectives of the 500 Hours Professional Yoga Teacher Training Course are to provide participants with advanced knowledge and expertise in yoga practice, philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methodology. The course is designed to deepen personal practice, enhance teaching skills, and equip trainees to conduct multi-level, specialized, and therapy-oriented yoga classes safely and effectively. YOGA MODULE 1: ASANAS

Core Practice

500H training professional training around traditional yogasanas (Raj Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Primary Series with Vinyasa) as well as modern forms of yoga which are taught at level 1, 2, 3 & 4. These levels are based on beginner, intermediate & advanced level of practice.

Animal Yoga Series, Circuit Yoga, Partner Yoga, Hot Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Athletic Yoga, Rhythmic Yoga, Artistic Yoga and many more forms are taught. Yoga with a variety of props for advanced level practice supports body opening using Chair, Belt, Blocks, Stick, Ball, Wheel & Wall.

Cleansing Practices

Cleansing of the physical body is primary in yogic practice. We teach objectives, methods & precautions of detoxification practices, including Jal Neti and Rubber Neti, Shankprakshalan, Kunjal and Kapal Bhati, Tratak and other traditional cleansing techniques.

Advanced Studies & Applied Practice

This module offers an integrated study of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Bhagavad Geeta, and selected teachings from the Vedas and Upanishads, presenting yoga as a unified path of discipline, action, devotion, knowledge, and meditation.

The curriculum includes major yoga schools, Yama–Niyama, Tridosha and Pancha Prana, Koshas and Chakras, Kundalini philosophy, aura studies, vrat, and applied yogic humanities, with emphasis on reflective practice and professional teaching integration

Advanced Professional Studies

This module provides an in-depth study of the scientific foundations and advanced practices of meditation for professional teaching. Training includes Yoga Nidra, Chakra Meditation, mantra and Soham meditation, japa, mindfulness, trataka, guided and silent meditation, with emphasis on progressive sequencing, therapeutic application, and teaching methodology aligned with 500-hour Yoga Alliance standards.
